Don Wheeland signs on for ice race debut

Don Wheeland of wheels roadhouse cafe in Owego has signed on to make his ice racing debut at Broome Arena Nov 7. Wheeland took D-3 by storm this year taking several feature wins. Now we need some other support riders to step up and ride ice withhim so he has some competition. Jammin Jeff Garlinghouse has purchased tires and we hope he will take part at Broome. Rumors have the Battlescar Mark Bradley thinking about it. Donny Page and Vinnie Oliver are also making some noise!

Big Sean Neal takes second at XIIR RD 1

Congrats to Local ATV pro "Big" Sean Neal who took second in the Springfield Mass RD of the XIIR Championships. Dan Hawk also competed but had equipment trouble and Mikey Buman took fifth in the speedway division. All three will be competing at the ice races in Binghamton Nov 7 at The Broome Arena.

Tuff McBride wins Handicap Main at IMS!!!

Tuff McBride did us proud by winning the Handicap Main on Speedway Billy Night at IMS in San Bernardino, CA in late Sept. East Coast Champion, Adam Mittl, also did very well taking second to Shawn McConnell in the Last Man Out money challenge and also getting second in the scratch last chance!

We are Ice Racing at Broome Nov 7!!!

We will be running RD 1 of The North American Indoor Ice Racing Championships on Saturday Nov 7 at The Broome County Arena. This is the first time ice racing has taken place at Broome Arena since 1979! Tickets are on sale at ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 800-745-3000. A full program of professional Speedway and ATV's will take place plus min ATV's, AM ATV's and a mad dog flat track class which will likley have some heat racing earlier in late afternoon. The Main show starts at 7pm.
